The Main Characters: a sorcerer, a duelist, and an engineer.

Two of the friends they meet along the way: Lord Adalya, a noble hopelessly in love with Lydion, trapped in a violent marriage to a truly evil man, and Ganymede, brother of Io, who once served under that same man.

Many of the powerful characters the sailors meet are not friendly, such as (from left to right, top to bottom): Lord Marion Etchira, Puppeted Master of Ionette Island, Lord Malchiar, Crimson Usurper of Ilati, Mr. Green, Ringleader of the Greenhouse Casino, Cyrus Prime, Avenging Soul, The Emperor, Soul-Twisted Gold Dragon, Daedalus, right hand of convergence, Dante, Fallen Apostate, and The Dreamer, Force of Creation. Many of these figures eventually see the light and become allies, but some do not.

Lord Malchiar, metaphorical incarnation of bloodlust and war, remains a constant antagonizing force, able to keep up with the main characters in every way. His drive towards ever-greater power is unstoppable, even in the face of divinity.

Through a series of schemes and impossible feats of machinery, this villain gains the power to control life itself. Spoilers for my comic by the way.

These are a sample of some of my favorite pages from the first three chapters of my comic. Everybody you’ve seen previously will eventually be featured in the comic, so when I finally finish it, keep an eye out for these fun characters!
